Born from a question we kept hearing

“Can we just use it to source?”

We built a full ATS with a CRM and a kick-ass sourcing engine inside it. Every buyer we talked to already had an ATS. Already had a CRM. And every one of them asked the same question about the sourcing engine. So we cut it out and sold them exactly that.

One-time purchase. Your keys. Your data. Feeds the ATS you already have.

The problem has never been access to the data.

You can sign up for People Data Labs right now. You can get an Apollo account in five minutes. ZoomInfo will take your call today. The APIs are public. The pricing is published. The data is there.

The problem is what happens after. You pull a candidate from PDL. Great. Now you need their direct phone number from ZoomInfo and their personal email from ContactOut. Three providers, three dashboards, three logins, no connection between them. You are copying and pasting between browser tabs trying to build a complete profile.

That is the gap. Not the data. The interface that connects it. Every ATS and sourcing platform charges you a premium to be that interface. My Sourcing Engine is that interface, and you buy it once.

Without an engine

1

Search PDL for "Registered Nurse, Louisville KY"

Name, title, company

2

Copy name into ZoomInfo

3

4

Org chart, hiring signals

5

Paste everything into a spreadsheet

One candidate. Repeat 50x.

~12 min per candidate. ~10 hours per req.

With My Sourcing Engine

1

Hit search. All providers fire at once.

50 candidates, deduplicated, scored, enriched. Seconds.

Defragment your sourcing.

Connect what you want. Activate what you need. Pay provider rates, not platform rates.

LinkedIn

LinkedIn

1B+ profiles · CSV import + extension workflow

LinkedIn does not sell API access. The MSE Companion extension (included) adds any profile to your pipeline in one click, and the engine enriches contact info server-side at wholesale. Or export your project as CSV and import.

Indeed

Indeed

350M+ profiles · CSV import + extension workflow

Indeed retired its public APIs. Export candidates or applicants as CSV from your Indeed employer account, import into the engine, and the enrichment pipeline fills in verified emails and phones.

ZipRecruiter

ZipRecruiter

36M+ resumes · CSV import + extension workflow

ZipRecruiter retired its public APIs. Export applicants or resume database contacts as CSV from your employer account, import into the engine, and the enrichment pipeline fills in verified emails and phones.

Glassdoor

Glassdoor

No public API · CSV import + extension workflow

Glassdoor shut down its API program, and its job postings now run through the Indeed network. Applicants land in your Indeed employer dashboard: export as CSV, import into the engine, and enrich at wholesale.

Neither sells self-serve API access, so no platform can truly integrate them. The difference: the engine is honest about it, and the CSV import path costs you nothing extra.

Profile counts and pricing from each provider's official website and published API documentation, verified July 2026.

Do your own math.

Pick your industry, your placement target, and your sourcing ratio. We price the wholesale side against the recommended providers for your vertical, and the platform side against the incumbent tool your vertical actually buys, using its real contract minimums, seat allowances, credit terms, and annual price increases. Both sides shown over three years, because that is how platform contracts actually bill.

* Industry sourcing benchmarks commonly run 100+ candidates touched per hire in competitive markets. The higher your volume, the harder per-seat and per-credit pricing punishes you, and the wider the wholesale gap gets. This estimate does not include agency fees, which typically run 15-25% of first-year salary.

Wholesale rates: published API pricing from each provider (PDL, Apollo, Explorium, etc.). Platform rates: Vendr verified contract data, vendor pricing pages, G2/Capterra reviews 2026. All figures are pre-tax.

30% email bounce rates reported on G2. Auto-renews with a 60-90 day cancel window. Miss it and you are locked in at the higher rate. Every phone number and email reveal counts against your bucket.

They own your candidate database. Not you.

Every candidate you source through their platform lives on their servers. Cancel your subscription and your database goes with it, or gets exported as a stripped-down CSV. You spent months building a candidate pipeline and they hold the keys. My Sourcing Engine stores everything in your MongoDB, on your infrastructure. Your data never touches a third-party server. AES-256 encrypted. You could air-gap it if you wanted to.

Your ATS and CRM were never built to source.

Bullhorn tracks applicants. Salesforce tracks deals. Greenhouse tracks interviews. None of them find candidates. You still need a sourcing tool on top, and now you are paying for two systems.

Bullhorn

Bullhorn

ATS + CRM
12-mo annual

Annual billing required. ~20% price increases at renewal. Multi-year deals pushed aggressively. Native sourcing is slow. AI sourcing (Amplify) is a paid add-on. $25-50K/yr for a 10-person team.

iCIMS

iCIMS

ENTERPRISE ATS
12-36 months

CRM + MARKETING
Monthly available

Monthly billing exists, but it is a marketing CRM, not recruiting. Zero sourcing, no credential matching, no ATS integrations. Teams hack it into a pipeline and build around it.

Bullhorn

How Bullhorn actually sources candidates

Three acquisitions (2022-2026), sold as one product

SourceBreaker

Acquired July 2022

Searches job boards and external databases for candidate profiles.

Does not disclose which data providers it uses.

Textkernel

Acquired June 2024

Connects to 20+ external talent databases including Indeed and Monster. LinkedIn, GitHub, and Stack Overflow searched via Google Custom Search.

These are the same databases you can connect to directly at the source.

Amplify

Launched May 2025

AI wrapper for matching, ranking, screening, and outreach. "Digital Workers" announced at Engage 2026.

Trained on 60M historical placements. The AI layer is the only proprietary piece.

Bullhorn charges $99-315/user/mo for base CRM. SourceBreaker, Textkernel, and Amplify are all separately priced add-ons with custom quotes only. No published credit limits. No published per-candidate costs. No self-serve pricing. No free trial. An agency expecting to pay $165/user/mo for Core easily sees that double once they add sourcing, automation, and analytics modules. A 10-person team can hit $50K/yr before a single candidate is sourced.

How it actually works

Your search. Your providers. Your budget.

Connect what you need

Each provider does something different. PDL has the broadest data. ZoomInfo has the deepest company intel. ContactOut finds the emails LinkedIn hides. Connect the ones that matter for this search.

Toggle per search

Need ZoomInfo for this req but not PDL? Turn it off. Running lean? Use Apollo's free tier only. Scaling up a big push? Light up all ten. You decide what fires on every search.

One search, custom results

Hit search. The engine queries every active provider simultaneously, deduplicates the results, scores candidates against your requirements, and hands you a clean list. Seconds, not hours.

$0

No monthly aggregation fee

You pay each provider directly at their published API rate. No platform markup. No subscription for the privilege of searching. One-time purchase for the engine. Wholesale pricing forever.

Everything you need. Nothing you don't own.

Multi-Provider Aggregation

Search PDL, Apollo, Hunter, Explorium, and more in a single query. Deduplicated, scored, ranked. No provider has complete data. Together they do.

AI Agent

Autonomous sourcing agent that analyzes your job req, builds a search strategy, runs the engine, and writes a candidate analysis. Uses your own AI key.

AI Job Description Parser

Drop a PDF, paste a URL, or upload an image of a job posting. AI reads it and fills in every field automatically.

Feeds Your ATS

This is not an ATS and does not want to be. Export candidates as CSV mapped to your exact Bullhorn, iCIMS, Greenhouse, or Lever import format. Source here, manage there. Want a direct API push? It is your code. We build it as a change order, or your team does.

Custom Export

Export CSV or JSON with custom field selection and ordering. Save mapping templates that match your ATS import format so every export drops straight in.

You Own Everything

Full source code on your GitHub. Deployed to your Vercel. Your MongoDB. All API keys encrypted (AES-256) and never leave your infrastructure. White-label with your brand.

“Who maintains this after you hand it over?”

Think of us as your general contractor. We built the house, we hand you the keys, and when you want an addition, you call us for a change order. You never pay rent on your own building. Two options, pick what fits.

Option 1

Your team handles it

$0/mo

Full source code, full documentation, clean modular architecture. It is Next.js and TypeScript, the most common web stack in the world. Any mid-level software engineer can read it, maintain it, and build on it. Any AI coding agent (Claude, Cursor, Copilot) can modify it. Hand it to your IT team, a contractor, or do it yourself.

Your code. Your team. Zero ongoing cost.

Option 2

Full implementation + training

$800/8 hrs

We deploy it, configure your provider integrations, set up your ATS export mappings, and train your team on how to use it. You go from purchase to sourcing without touching a line of code.

Change orders at this rate for 90 days after delivery. No retainer, no minimum.

After 90 days, new feature work is scoped and quoted as standalone projects.

Compare that to $32K/year for ZoomInfo with a 12-month lock-in, 60-day cancel window, and 7% annual price escalators. Whichever option you pick, you own the engine either way.

Questions, answered.

If your question is not here, request a demo and we will answer it live.

Request Demo
What do I actually get?+

Full source code delivered to your GitHub. A Next.js application with MongoDB, deployed to your Vercel account. Every integration, every feature, every line of code. You own it.

How does BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) work?+

You create accounts directly with data providers like People Data Labs, Apollo, or Hunter. You paste your API keys into the Settings page. Keys are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and stored in your database. We never see them, touch them, or route through them.

What does "one-time purchase" mean?+

You pay once. No monthly fee, no per-seat cost, no per-search markup. The only ongoing costs are what you pay the data providers directly at their published rates, and your hosting (Vercel free tier + MongoDB free tier works fine to start).

Can I white-label it?+

Yes. The branding page lets you set your company name, logo, and colors. The platform becomes yours. Your recruiters never see "My Sourcing Engine" anywhere.

What if I already have an ATS?+

Perfect. This is not an ATS. It is a sourcing engine that feeds your ATS. Export custom CSVs mapped to your Bullhorn, Salesforce, iCIMS, Greenhouse, or Lever import format, or download JSON. Direct API push is not built in yet. Because you own the code, we (or your team) can add it for your specific ATS as a change order. Source here, manage there.

How long does deployment take?+

Most teams are deployed and sourcing within an afternoon. Clone the repo, set four environment variables, deploy to Vercel, create your account. The setup guide walks through every step.

Do you offer support after purchase?+

Yes. You get a deployment walkthrough session and 90 days of support to get your team running. During those 90 days, change orders are a flat $800 per 8 hours, no retainer, no minimum. After 90 days, new feature work is scoped and quoted as standalone projects. And you always have the source code and documentation to maintain it independently.

Can I add more providers later?+

Yes. Each provider is a single file that maps their API to a unified candidate format. Any developer can add a new source in an afternoon.

We have IT. Why not build our own?+

You could. But this is a jumpstart, not a locked box. It is written in Next.js and TypeScript, the most common stack in web development. It ships with full documentation and clean, modular code that any mid-level engineer could read, understand, and build on in a day. The question is not whether your team can build a sourcing engine. It is whether they should spend months doing it when they could start from here and customize.

Does this use AI?+

Yes. You connect your own AI model key (Claude, OpenAI, or others) and the engine uses it to structure job searches, parse job descriptions from PDFs and URLs, and enhance candidate matching and scoring. Your key, your usage, your rates. No AI markup.
